The Wake FC Pre-Academy program offers advanced training and competition to high performance players to prepare to play academy-level soccer. Our Pre-Academy Juniors (7v7) program allows for U9-U10 boys and girls teams to train and play under qualified coaching staff with experience developing Academy players from an early development stage. Our Pre-Academy Classic program allows for U11-U12 boys and girls teams to benefit from high level local and regional competition and challenge their development playing against older teams when appropriate in order to meet their developmental needs. This program is available in both our North (Raleigh area) and South (Holly Springs area) locations.

Pre-Academy season consists of a Fall (August-December) and Spring (January-May) terms with a approximately eight (8) games per term. Depend  on age group and division, Pre-Academy teams will participate in 4-6 tournaments per season.

Additionally, Pre-Academy teams have access to seasonal group training opportunities, camps and clinics led by our Technical Director and Pre-Academy coaches.

Pre-Academy teams compete in local/regional classic level competitions that require various amounts of travel throughout NC depending on the division's opponents. Depending on team, tournament travel can be local or regional. Tournaments are determined under guidance and collaboration of Wake FC directors & coaches.
